Learning Disabilities Support
Learning disability support for adults
At Larkspur Care, we provide person-centred support for adults with learning disabilities, helping each person live a life that is as independent, fulfilling and meaningful as possible.
We take time to understand the individual—their strengths, needs, preferences, routines, communication and aspirations—rather than focusing only on their disability.
Our flexible support is available to adults aged 18 and over across Burton, Swadlincote, Ashby and surrounding areas.
Promoting choice and independence
Our support is built around choice, dignity and independence. We focus on what matters to the person, whether that means developing new skills, taking part in the community, building relationships or managing everyday life at home.
Consistency and trusted relationships are important. We aim to provide reliable support from people who take time to know, understand and respect each individual.
Guided by our values of integrity, compassion and choice, we work alongside the person, their family and other professionals where appropriate. Support can be adapted as someone’s needs, circumstances and goals change.
